HOW TO MAKE A RECTANGLE PULL CARD!
By Julie Creek
Place the die as shown above in the center fold mark of the die. I stack up the pieces of cut paper and cut them both at the same time.
Take the piece you will use as your base and fold the front flap back along the fold line. Shown above and below.
Take piece you cut as a mat and cut it down the center on the fold line. Take each piece and trim 1/8" off of each side of the rectangles. This will give you mats that fit perfectly. Ink the edges with brown ink using the Ink blending tool to apply ink. Adhere the mats with thin lines of Scotch Quick Dry Adhesive. Match up the die cut marks on both pieces.
Fold the spinner in half and set in the fold of the card. There is a close up below of what this looks like. I used double stick tear tape for adhesive here.

The Rectangle pull card is a creative die designed by Karen Burniston and manufactured by Elizabeth Crafts.
The die set contains a "spinner" piece which causes things to "pop up" when you open the card.
This die set also has that stamp die set on it which I absolutely LOVE!
So how do you make this card?
I like to put mats inside my card so I cut two pieces of paper 7.25"x 5.5". Put the long side of the paper against the top of your scoreboard and score at 3 5/8".
Place the die as shown above in the center fold mark of the die. I stack up the pieces of cut paper and cut them both at the same time.
Take the piece you will use as your base and fold the front flap back along the fold line. Shown above and below.
Die cut "the spinner" piece that is in the die cut set. I accented the edges of mine so you could easily see the fold marks. Fold along the score lines on the piece after it is die cut.
Place adhesive on the spinner piece where the X is shown above.
Fold the spinner in half and set in the fold of the card. There is a close up below of what this looks like. I used double stick tear tape for adhesive here.
Now place adhesive as shown below on the spinner piece where I've marked with an X.
Close the card and the spinner piece will stick exactly where it is supposed to stick.
The spinner is attached and now you can add anything you want to the piece as an accent.
I accented the front of my card with the Eiffel Tower Die cut, a small banner and an elegant oval shape. I covered the Eiffel tower with Wink of
stella for a shimmer finish!
