Ali Edwards is getting set to reveal her December Daily Album for 2009 this Monday on her blog. If you aren't familiar with Ali or more specifically this project that she does every year, here's an brief description from her blog:

December Daily is an album that documents the month of December leading up to Christmas day (and sometimes beyond - that's completely up to you). It is a chance to reflect, to share, to celebrate the season in a manageable, in-the-moment way. The entire key to this album is to put it together BEFORE December. In December I will share my finished pages each day.

The Basics: gather up a bunch of holiday supplies, create an album with 25 pages (one for each day), and then when December rolls around you will have a foundation upon which to document you and your family's story. The idea is to take the time now to set it all up so that on December 1 you are ready to experience + to capture the memories for the day and add them into your album as you go.

I made an album last year and loved this project. Actually I made 4 albums and gave away 3 of them as gifts! I'm really excited to see her album. This year she's changing the foundation of her book. She usually uses pattern paper, cardstock or transparencies as pages and chipboard covers. This time she's using the Donna Downey Prima Canvas Album as the base and mixing in a variety of interior pages. I personally love this canvas album so I can't wait to see her design. I'm also a big fan of different sized pages mixed in with pockets, page protectors, envelopes and transparencies. I love the eclectic feel of it all.

Check out her post on Monday and see what she comes up with. If you decide to make one yourself, come back to Creek Bank and pick up the Prima Canvas Album. We have several in stock but I would imagine that the album will be in demand and will be hard to find so get it while you can here!!!

Also, we've had several online customers email us to comment how fast we ship our orders. We just wanted to say thanks for noticing! We always aim to ship your order the same day (if all products are in stock). We also ship all of our packages USPS Priority Mail with a tracking number. Once your order ships, we update our system showing the package is on it's way and we also give you a tracking number. The system sends you all this in an email or you can log into your account on our website and view this information. We do our best ensure your complete order arrives quickly!!! (Did I mention that I also like to add a free item whenever I can??!?)

If you haven't ordered from us, give it a try! We always offer free shipping on all orders (does not apply to wholesale orders) over $50.

Enjoy your Saturday... :)

Good News! The 7 gypsies Artist Print trays arrived TODAY...wayyyy ahead of schedule! We are working hard today shipping out the orders we've received. We have plenty in stock...so feel free to order knowing we'll get your order shipped as soon as possible. I'm sure this product will end up selling out again...so don't delay!

We also have the book handles back in stock. These were in HOT demand at The Covered Bridge festival. We made a simple wall hanging using a package of 6x6 chipboard and snap rings. The book handles clip onto the chipboard and are used for hanging the display vertically. (sorry I don't have a photo...the camera isn't working today!) You can make two wall hangings with one package of book handles.

Welcome to all the new members of our newsletter and blog! We've invited over 500 women to join us over the last few days. We met these women at The Covered Bridge Festival in Bridgeton, Indiana.

If you are new let me bring you up to date on a few things...

We are a small family owned scrapbook manufacture and retailer. Our base of business comes from our website http://www.creekbankcreations.com/ and our travels to scrapbook shows all over the country. We are located in a country town in Muncie, Illinois where we operate from a former grade school. Locally we are open by set dates, and EVERY Friday from 10am-5pm.

The best way to keep updated about what we are doing and where we are going is our newsletter which you are now getting. Each time we post our newsletter we also post on our blog, so there is always a record that you can refer to. You can find the blog at http://www.creekbankcreations.blogspot.com/ I love the blog because we can post layouts and projects there and you can use it as a resource anytime you are wanting inspiration.

Our next show is The Chris Cringle Craft Show in Champaign, Illinois. This is November 6th & 7th. Our shop will be closed on next Friday so that we can set up and operate at the show. Please join us in Champaign, as we are hosting a fun Make and Take at this event. Our booth is located on the main floor.

We will also be open on Saturday November 21, 2009 from 10am-11pm. (our crop space has sold out for this crop). We do have room for a few students in our classes, and as always the shopping is free! :) You'll find the class information here.

We will be hosting a two day scrapbooking event here in Muncie, Illinois sometime this winter. I am waiting on things to firm up with my 2010 calendar, but we are planning a 210 crop. This will be 2 Days of scrapbooking for just $10.00. The 210 crops have become very popular so be sure and sign up early as we do sell out! We will annouce the date right here on the newsletter and blog so stay tuned!

Lots going on so you'll be getting more news later!
