Prepare to get messy as we make three altered super slide cards.   In class I will share with you my latest invention SUPER SLIDE.  Then we will alter our cards using some great altered art techniques.  We will work with molding paste, dye ink, perfect pearls, stamps and stencils.  You will learn how to make your own spray ink during class as we mix up three different colors, then we will SPRAY and PLAY.  You will take home three finished cards, three mini misters with ink, a 6x6 stencil, and lots of knowledge!  A fun class that you should plan on getting MESSY.

I will be bringing rubber stamps to share with class and providing some of the stamping ink, the perfect pearls, refill inks and more.  This will be a very hands on class!

The envelope punch board was designed to allow crafters to make their own envelopes. It’s a great tool for that, but during this class we will learn to use the envelope punch board in a creative way!   During class we will make 5 different projects using Bazzill Basics Cardstock  with your envelope punch board.  You will learn the various techniques, and make the 5 projects in class,  We will make a 3.75” box, a paper gift bag, a matchbox, a card keeper box, a mini treat box, and as a bonus I have added the directions for the gift card holder into your instruction sheet.  The written resource you take home will be a resource you’ll want to keep so that you can make birthday favors, Christmas boxes, and creative gifts at any time!

This Class will last at least two hours.  It may last longer depending on the skill level of crafters in this class.  This class is open to any skill level of crafter, and you don't have to be a scrapbooker to take this class!
You do need to provide the following tools:

Cricut Album: Recipe Organizer Album Featuring "From the Kitchen Cartridge".
Cost: $50.00

Wouldn't you like one special place to store all your favorite recipes?  Come to this class and I will show you how to use your Cricut and "From the Kitchen" cartridge to make a sweet Organizing Album.  In this class you will learn how to layer cuts  and add little extras to create embellishment.  These embellishment are so cute you might want to check in the oven or peek under the stock pot lid!

I am featuring the TV Dinner paper line from Cosmo Cricket so the album has a retro feel.  All Products are included in this class even the Album.   If you do not have a Cricut but would like to take the class I can precut  all the embellishments for $5 extra.

Please bring your Cricut, "From the Kitchen" Cartridge (I have 2 extra cartridges that may be borrowed for class), Trimmer, Scissors,  6 foot extension cord, a multi plug and Adhesive.

Add some fun to your scrapbook layouts with the new super slide inactive scrapbook page element designed by Julie Creek.  During class -you will learn how to assemble the super slide, and build a two-page layout. We will be working with My Minds Eye  pattern paper, and Bazzill Basics cardstock to build our scrapbook page.

You will take home detailed instructions so you can assemble super slide at home!  Super slide is fun and active, and allows you to get more photos on your scrapbook page.  Meant for any skill level. Each person should provide their own set of tools and supplies.  This class is only suitable for those who work in 12”x12” albums.

In this 3 hour class, we will complete a fun interactive folio to use for your pictures on tags or photo mounts.  Chipboard cut to measure for your album cover and a tutorial will be included in this class. The Split Cover Notebook Folio measures 6” x 8 ½” contains a 5 ¼” x 7 ¾” booklet. This folio has lots of opportunities for individual personalization.

Add interactive elements to your layouts and minis with these five pocket style tag/photo mat projects. Learn five construction techniques to create added interest and real estate. The possibilities for these pocket and flap elements are endless.  For 2 hours, we’ll be making elements ranging  in size from 4” x 6” to 6” x 8 ½” pockets and flaps to use as add-on enhancements for more pictures and journaling opportunities.  In addition to hands on instruction, take away tutorials for all five techniques will be provided.

Bring your lunch and plan a creative day making a one of kind unique album.  We provide a refrigerator and a microwave for your lunch, and pleny of room for you to spread out and work during class. 

GATE FOLD FOLIO -  Class Description

In this class, we will be learning to use varied techniques to construction a full size (10” x 12”) interactive gate fold album. The basic construction of this album includes multiple variations of the pocket page. The album will accommodate pictures up to 8” x 10”. It will contain lots and lots of Real Estate to attach photos to.  The techniques presented in this class are techniques that can be adapted to create other album types.  A moderate to advanced skill level is required to meet the challenge of this class.

One metal swing closure & findings for mounting

Individual Personal Supplies – you provide.  You must provide all the supplies and tools on the list.  Because this class is very in depth we request EACH PERSON have their own tools.  If you need supplies for class please email Julie at creekbc@gmail.com and she can help you locate tools or supplies.  (please contact us at least a week before class)

1) – Pattern paper pack or multiple sheets coordinating designer paper – can be single or double sided – at least 16 sheets. Be sure to bring enough sheets to account for “mistakes”. – Packaged collections work well

2) – 12 x 12 solid color cardstock black, cream or white (This will be used as the base paper for the album. Select the solid color suitable to your pattern paper selection.) – 16 pieces (the Paper Studio Cardstock Pack comes with 25 sheets from Hobby Lobby or Core’dinations Premium Cardstock Solid Dyed Core Smooth Texture comes with 20 sheets from JoAnn’s). Again, allow enough to account for “mistakes”.

3) – 1 ½” circle punch

4) – Decorative border punch, scissors or decorative cutter blade for paper trimmer

5) – Ruler – preferably centering ruler

6) – 12" aper trimmer, and Craft knife

7) – Scissors

8) – Score board, bone folder, or scoring blade for paper trimmer.  You must have a bone folder.  Score board or trimmer must be 12". 

9) – Adhesives – ¼” Score Tape or Red Tacky Tape (sticky tape), ATG or other tape runner, and wet glue.

10) – Cutting mat. 12" 

11) – Brayer

This class will start at 10am and end around 6pm.  It could run later.  If you are coming from out of town and want to spend the night before or the night after the class at River Retreat House you can.  Go to our website hereand for an additional $40.00 you can spend the night!
