Artist Print Tray Baseball Style!
The artist print tray in 4x6 black is perfect for sports displays! I've taken this print tray and moved the handle to the other side so that the 4x6 space is horizontal. (just unscrew the handle and re screw it at the top) Fill the holes with black paint.
I accented the tray with kraft cardstock that I distressed using some Tim Holtz Tools. Spray the paper with the Mini Mister and make it plyable. Wod it up into a ball, then flatten it out. Use the Ink blending tool, and use the brown ink on it. Spread the brown ink on the paper to disress it. Allow the paper to dry.
Accent the Name of the Game Baseball paper using the brown ink and the ink blending tool. Adhere leather accents with Beacon's Fabric Adhesive.


Accent edges using edge distessor, and brown ink.

This layout is a great layout that allows you to work with new products, and make your own page accents!
Supplies Used:
Bazzill Cardstock: Pebbles background papers, and accent pieces.
Bazzill Cardstock: White for chair
Bazzill Cardstock Dotted Swiss: Mudd Puddles (brown) cut to 4.25x6.25 for photo mat, 1x12 for strips on page, 2- 1.25"x3" for title mat, cut one tag from Cricut Bags, Tags and More Cartridge.

I love this paper line because it is so versatile. It looks great as this beach layout, but works well on many other projects. These are all double sided papers with lots of options!

This layout uses some new products that are fun to work with. Take the two brown strips, and accent with Mudd Puddles product. Just a small amount will do, just make sure you have one clean edge. Allow the product to dry 2-3 hours to completely dry.

Locate all the page pieces (except the tag)and accent the edges with the edge distressor, then accent with brown ink. Place the pattern paper on the page as shown, leaving a place on the upper right hand side for a journal tag. Attach paper to tag to make a tag topper using the tiny attacher.

Cut the beach chair from the Cricut Cartridge from white paper, and Creative Imaginations Wood Paper using the Life Is A Beach Cartridge. Cut at 4". Layer the two pieces together. Place on page as shown.
Cut the title at 1" from the Life Is A Beach Cartridge. Use the font on the cartridge. Assemble title as shown.
Choose a photo for a focal point. To mat the photo assemble as shown, using edge distressor on edges. Accent photo mat with hemp string from May Arts.
To make the accent pieces cut the star fishes at 1" from the Life Is a Beach cartridge. Use a brown pen to accent pieces, and accent edges with brown ink.
Cut the sand dollar piece (round piece) using the Life Is A Beach Cartridge at 1.25". Cut a photo mat using brown paper. Adhere together to make one piece. Place glossy accents on the piece and allow to dry. This piece will take several hours to dry. Accent with hemp string from May Arts.

Marcie outlined the layout with some lace she had a home. It's a great way to frame a page. Our kit contains blue letters, but Marcie wanted black ones. To achieve this look simply press StazOn permanent ink onto the sticker letters. Press firmly, and apply it several times.

I love this accent that Marcie put in the corner of this layout. She mixed it by by using her edge distressor to "ruffle" the edges, and then accented the piece with punched snowflake pieces.

Each kit contains two sheets of vintage Christmas Music. Marcie divided the sheet music up and used it on this page. She accented the page with small amounts of stickles.

Marcie altered the tag on the page above by covering up all the blue on the tag with a piece of the music note paper. Below is a close up of the title. Marcie traced the letters that came with the kit onto papers and then cut them out. WHAT A GREAT IDEA!!! (I'm stealing this idea for sure). Notice how she went back with the pen and outlined the letters?

A fun layout that tells the story of the gifts Keey's son Jackson bought for his family members. I love the detail on the layout above where Keely stitched around the inside of the circle with her sewing machine.

This layout shows the custom die cut red piece...used with a punch out from the punch out sheet. This kit contains a sheet of 12x12 borderline CLEAR stickers. Keely used them here for a title.

We are often asked about the "pins" that are so popular now. I love these little dudes! Keely has a great idea here...first she altered the chipboard by clipping the corners with the corner chomper to round the edges, then she put red ink on it. She adhered it to the page using a pop dot, and placed the pins into the pop dots. LOVE THAT!

A title block on this page is made with a punch out piece, and sticker letters. Keely outlined the letters with a black pen. Great idea!

Just an update for those reading who are new...We are normally only open in our retail storefront on Friday's from 10am-5pm.

This week we've added a class on Thrusday Night making the 25 Days of December Class (the 25 Days kit can be found here, the class can be found here). This kit has been a strong seller, so if you want a kit don't delay!

Friday we will operate our normal 10am-5pm hours. We do have room in the crop room ON FRIDAY ONLY.

Saturday we are open from 10am-11pm. The crop room is full, but we do have a few spaces left in our special Cricut Class. You can sign up for the Cricut Class here. I have personally spent hours preparing for this class. I'm excited to share with you all the wonderful things I've learned while digging into the Cricut machine. You can attend this class even if you are a beginner...we're bound to have FUN. (just check the supply list and make sure you bring the supplies on the list)

We will also be open on Black Friday. Special Deals will abound and the crop room will be open 10am-7pm.

Now to the layouts...

It’s easy to look at a designers work and think…”I wish I could” or “I could never”. Part of what we love to do is tell you…”YES YOU CAN”.

Let’s look at the work Marcie Morgan completed in detail and you’ll see why YOU CAN!

Lots of mixed media here and those good ole fashioned pop dots. Gotta love them. Did you see the ribbon was attached using staples…and the paper block is adhered with sewing? Great unique ways to set off a page!

This page shows a great layout using the products from the kit with little alternation. Just some ink on the edges and a few pearl accents. Marcie made the journaling block on her computer and it balances the page out!

Lots to note here!
Notice the outlining detail here. Look around the sticker letters, and the flowers.
Another mixture of stapling and sewing. The antique trim looks great stapled on and turned into a ruffle.
Marcie thought the brown border on the right was too wide, so she just cut it down.
The big flower on the left Marcie made using scraps of paper and a spare button she had. It’s accented with lime stickles, which she also used on the flower.
The brown swirl at the top of the flower didn’t come that way from the punch out sheet. Marcie cut it and put it together to make the shape she wanted.
Marcie mixed up the font styles on her title for a great look! Lessons to learn…
Use my pen to outline letters, or items to move color around and highlight things.Use various forms of adhesion.

Happy Birthday Card 3 details here
1. She outlined the inside the of frame, and she left the pen outline on the butterfly. This is a simple detail that adds interest and moves color around the card.
2. The dots on the circle border strip at the bottom were brown. Her answer to make them match her project? She colored them black using copic markers! It’s cool to see how the glitter still shows through! (love that!)
3. Marci cut the butterfly out, then put a light coat of stickles on it, and set it aside to dry. The result is the curved look you see…very cool. This look would look great on flowers, clouds, kites…lots of embellishments!

Heavily distressed edges using the Heidi Swapp Edge Distressor!

You may of guessed that as a business owner I don't get much scrapbooking done. Here's my addition to the layouts for the club kit. (pretty amazing I found the time!). I used my photos from the white challenge I never got around to and mixed it up with the sketch from this month's challenge. I've learned a great deal from Marcie Morgan over the past few weeks and I've incorporated some ideas here!

The white scalloped circle you see on the left is brown pattern paper from the kit. I didn't want brown, so I flipped it over and used the back. The same goes for the scalloped border on the right. I used the back side. I messed around with the pearls, put them on all over the left and didn't like them. I found that I could get them off using Un-do and moved them over the right.

Our new chipboard swirl painted, and distressed with our sanding stick. (this product ships in next two weeks)

I hope the kit does for you what it did for me. It got me moving and trying new things!

You own that machine that cuts great looking paper right? We'll Creek Bank Creations, Inc. is launching a new line of products under the name bulk city. The items in the bulk city are meant to be used in cutting machines and sytems you already own! Get creative with what you already own by adding a special twist! Today we're talking about cuttable canvas. This canvas is 12x12 and cuts like a dream. We cut ours in both Cricut(tm) in Inspiration (tm) with a standard cutting blade. (refer to our website for more details)

Here is a nice close up of a flower I cut using the Cricut (tm) Machine and the George Cartridge.
Here is another with a swirl I took off another cartridge.
To make these flowers try these steps!


Cut your cuttable canvas to fit your mat size. The cuttable canvas can be cut in your paper cutter. (oh how cool is that?) Now stamp any image onto the canvas. I just used Cat's eye inks, and some Tim Holtz Distress inks.
Here I just drug my ink pad over the cutable canvas. The more I push the darker the ink.



Place the canvas on the cutting mat and cut your design. I cut flowers from the George Cartridge, sizing them in various sizes from 2"-3".

Peel your designs off the mat!



I wanted to show you that the machine can even cut letters in great detail. In this photo I just drug ink over the cuttable canvas.

Now you can accent the edges with more ink.


You can even cut a fun tree, and accent it with buttons!


I love using the Heidi Swapp Edge Distressor on the cutable canvas. Don't forget you can also rip it for a great look!




I cut an envelope from one of the cartridges...Lots of fun options here!

This is a fun product with many great uses! We'll be carrying it on our website, and at trade shows. If you love those clock hands you'll find them on our website!

Update: Amanda Zimmer wanted to know if she could cut the canvas with the Big Shot. We played with it today in house and we got a good clean cut, and what is super dooper awesome is that it embosses wonderfully. We also cut the canvas using the Pink Squeeze from Quickutz, and the Tag Along. I could not get my revolution to cut the canvas...but I'm not sure I didn't break it a few weeks ago ramming something in it that was tooooo fat. I'll post some samples of the embossed cuttable canvas later.
