Bring your lunch and plan a creative day making a one of kind unique album.  We provide a refrigerator and a microwave for your lunch, and pleny of room for you to spread out and work during class. 

GATE FOLD FOLIO -  Class Description

In this class, we will be learning to use varied techniques to construction a full size (10” x 12”) interactive gate fold album. The basic construction of this album includes multiple variations of the pocket page. The album will accommodate pictures up to 8” x 10”. It will contain lots and lots of Real Estate to attach photos to.  The techniques presented in this class are techniques that can be adapted to create other album types.  A moderate to advanced skill level is required to meet the challenge of this class.

Individual Personal Supplies – you provide.  You must provide all the supplies and tools on the list.  Because this class is very in depth we request EACH PERSON have their own tools.  If you need supplies for class please email Julie at creekbc@gmail.com and she can help you locate tools or supplies.  (please contact us at least a week before class)

1) – Pattern paper pack or multiple sheets coordinating designer paper – can be single or double sided – at least 16 sheets. Be sure to bring enough sheets to account for “mistakes”. – Packaged collections work well

2) – 12 x 12 solid color cardstock black, cream or white (This will be used as the base paper for the album. Select the solid color suitable to your pattern paper selection.) – 16 pieces (the Paper Studio Cardstock Pack comes with 25 sheets from Hobby Lobby or Core’dinations Premium Cardstock Solid Dyed Core Smooth Texture comes with 20 sheets from JoAnn’s). Again, allow enough to account for “mistakes”.

3) – 1 ½” circle punch

4) – Decorative border punch, scissors or decorative cutter blade for paper trimmer

5) – Ruler – preferably centering ruler

6) – 12" aper trimmer, and Craft knife

7) – Scissors

8) – Score board, bone folder, or scoring blade for paper trimmer.  You must have a bone folder.  Score board or trimmer must be 12". 

9) – Adhesives – ¼” Score Tape or Red Tacky Tape (sticky tape), ATG or other tape runner, and wet glue.

10) – Cutting mat. 12" 

11) – Brayer

This class will start at 10am and end around 6pm.  It could run later.  If you are coming from out of town and want to spend the night before or the night after the class at River Retreat House you can.  Go to our website hereand for an additional $40.00 you can spend the night! Put the quanity in the cart as to how many nights you want to stay, and in the comments section put the dates of the nighst you wish to stay.  If you arrive the day before, or stay the night after you will be able to scrapbook in the house during those times.  (check in 9am, check out 6pm).  Feel free to email me (Julie) with questions creekbc@gmail.com or call 765-793-2523.

This line offers three papers that can be used for scrapbooking, but when you cut on the lines you'll find on the papers you can easily pop them into a frame!  How easy is that?



This christmas card is a fun card to make using Hampton Art White pigment ink, set with clear embossing powder and accented with a prismacolor white pencil.  Remember nearly ALL white inks are pigments, which means they will take a very long time to set, and really need set with embossing powder.  It's easy!
