What’s in your pocket?

Add interactive elements to your
layouts and minis with these five pocket style tag/photo mat projects. Learn
five construction techniques to create added interest and real estate. The
possibilities for these pocket and flap elements are endless. For 2 hours, we’ll be making elements
ranging in size from 4” x 6” to 6” x 8
½” pockets and flaps to use as add-on enhancements for more pictures and
journaling opportunities. In addition to
hands on instruction, take away tutorials for all five techniques will be
provided.

TABBED ENVELOPE POCKET – 4” x 6”
2)
MULTI-FLAP ENVELOPE POCKET – 5 ½” x 5 ¼”
3)
DOUBLE PAGE CROSS OVER POCKET – 5” x 6”
4)
MIRROR IMAGE ENVELOPE POCKET – 5 ¾” x 8 ½”
5)
MULTI-FLAP & POCKET ADD ON ELEMENT – 6 ½” x
6 ½”
Personal supply List
to bring to class:
Scissors, kraft knife
Adhesives – double sided tape, wet glue, etc.
Twelve inch ruler preferably centering ruler
Craft mat
Scoring tools – score board, bone folder, stylus, etc
One inch circle punch
One & one half inch circle punch
Edge punch or decorative edge scissors
At least one 12 x 12 piece of double sided Designer
Cardstock (allow for errors)
Designer Cardstock (can be single sided) – six to eight
pieces
Solid color 12 x 12 cardstock – four to six pieces
Full size paper trimmer
Pencil
Ink for
distressing/accenting edges
Ink blending tool
