Fall Projects

Another layout using Creek Bank Creations Rings Chipboard Sheet. I used the biggest ring for the outside edge, and accented both rings with brown ink. I cut the striped paper (Tim Coffery Stripe ) into a 2.5" strip, then traced the circle onto the paper. I carefully cut along the line, then with the 1/2 moon shape I had left (which will go inside the circle) I trimmed the paper down a little at a time until it fit inside the circle. I matted the large ring onto the leaf paper( Karen Foster Autumn Leaves Paper), and placed 2 photos inside the circle in the upper left.

Gotta love the Autumn colored Ball Fringe, felt flowers, and brown Felt Thicker letters

I made this embellishment by layering the flowers, and then adhering the ball fringe inside the center with Beacon's Fabric Glue. I ran the fringe around the inside edge, then cut small pom pom's off and glued them on one by one.

We always come up with some quick and cheap gift ideas around Christmas. The bottle carrier has been around Creek Bank Creations for a long time. For $1.25 it's a great way to give a COOL gift. This year we've used Jillibean Soup papers to decorate one that can be given to a teacher. I LOVE the way you can give your child's teacher a report using the beef bouillon paper from Jillibean Soup. It has an entire page of repart cards on it!

We used more felt thickers here (multi use saves us all money). We used the following papers:

The Covered Bridge Festival is just weeks away. I love this time of year...because I love the festival. :) We're gearing up with our new Covered Bridge Products which we will be adding to as time goes on! You can find all the Covered Bridge Items (more than what I've shown here) on our website here!
If you are attending the festival You will find us in the Collom's General Store . We are bringing custom papers, clear stamps and stickers custom made for the Covered Bridge Festival! See their website here http://www.collomsgeneralstore.com/
Collom's General Store is a tan (used to be pink) building on the North side of main street. As you enter Bridgeton from ANY direction you will see large parking lots on the out skirts of town. What we experienced last year is that there is parking just North of the main street directly downtown for the same price. Take Main street to Allen street. Parking is actually off Allen Street. This downtown parking lot is convenient and just north of our building. Here is a map of downtown Bridgeton to help: http://coveredbridges.com/bridgeton/map.htm The building we are located in is labled "Parke Place" on this map. You can actually park behind the building and enter from the back of the building.
If there are certain things you want you can place orders via our WEBSITE. Choose the local pick up option and let us know you want them delivered to the festival. (if you don't mark your order FESTIVAL we will assume it is a pick up that will occur in Muncie, IL). This is a good idea if you have custom books you want built.
Please do us the honor of telling your friends that Creek Bank Creations, Inc. will be attending the Covered Bridge Festival.

Fall Projects Another layout using Creek Bank Creations Rings Chipboard Sheet . I used the biggest ring for the outside edge, and accented ...

What do you do with that???? We've been asked alot this summer about our "rings" chipboard. Some folks think it is a template, others offer advice on what they think is....and we have to smile. This 12x12 sheet of heavy weight chipboard is meant to be cut apart and used on scrapbook pages.

For the layout above I cut the rings apart from the master sheet using an exacto knife. Then I sanded off any "nubs" that remained with my lil sis sanding stick. I planned out my layout design and backed the rings with paper. I like to use the Scotch Quick Dry glue to adhere the paper to the backs of the rings because I can get a thin line of glue all around the circle, then adhere it to the paper.

I could of painted the rings before adhering them, or put some ink on them. They even look good if you color them with copic markers. Basically you can use them staight from the sheet or alter them.
The paper circle accents were made using my circle punhces and the Heidi Swapp Edge Distressor.
