Stand Up Box for Glue Bottles
Stand Up Box for Glue Bottles
I don't know about you but I hate glue bottles falling over. I also hate having to wait forever for the adhesive to get to the tip. I've recently started working with our Bare Naked Mini Album Program and I've found Zip Dry Adhesive wonderful for these types of projects.
The key to using this product effectively is CONSISTENTLY putting the lid back on, and turning the bottle upside down. How does a girl keep her bottle upside down? I'm glad you asked!
You make a box to solve the problem!
To make the box start with a piece of heavyweight cardstock that measures 6"x11".
Put the LONG side of the paper on your score board and score at 2", 5", 7", and 10".
Turn the paper to the short side and score at 3" and 5".
Cut the paper as shown below on the red lines.
Locate Creek Bank Creations Stitched oval die and die cut as shown below using the 6th largest oval die.
Trim the piece as shown by the red lines, and add adhesive as shown with red lines.
Fold the box on the score lines. Secure the box shape, and then fold the top section down into the box.
Stabilize the box by cutting 8 pieces of heavyweight cardstock 1.5" x 5". Score at 2".
Layer four sections together and adhere to the bottom edges of the box.
Repeat with the second set, adhering to the other side.
I accented my box with my wave edge die. Great creative my friend!
To stabilize the inside of the box cut 4 pieces of heavyweight cardstock 1" x 4". Put the long side
of the paper against the top of the scoreboard and score at .50" and 3.5". Layer two pieces together to strengthen them. Place adhesive on the .50" tabs and adhere in the bottom of the box.
