Roughin it By Bo Bunny Press
Bo Bunny Press Roughin It!
I had some time last weekend to work with the new Roughin It line from Bo Bunny Press. This is a camping themed line that is great! I love the happy, bright colors which are great for camping pages. This line includes camo paper, hiking text, and even a page for smores. If you aren't a "camper" per say you might find you like the "outdoors" theme or the tree paper. It's just a great collection. I had fun working with the papers and added some chipboard from Creek Bank Creations. I used some leftovers from the rings sheet, accented them with some red ink and used them to highlight photos on my pages. I used the Don Waun Cartridge from cricut for my letters and the die cut heart on the bottom left.
Papers I used
2 sheets Bo Bunny Press Roughin It Nature pattern paper. (this is the green paper) Cut at 11.x11. and put on at an angle.
2 sheets Bo Bunny Press Roughin It Happy camper paper. (this is the wood grain and wood paper).
2 sheets Bazzill Maraschino Cardstock. Note here: I planned how I wanted to use the paper on this layout and then I cut the middle out of the papers so I could use them on other parts of the page. The large wood grain circle, and word accents are cut from the papers I saved and cut out.
1 sheet Bazzill Yellow Cardstock
1 Sheet Bo Bunny Press Roughin It Stripe
I used the qoutes on the paper here. Just matted them on cardstock and added a few pop dots!
I love using the chipboard rings to draw attention to certain photos. I used Tim Holtz Red Barn Door ink on these rings using Tim Holtz Ink Blending tool. I wrapped the hear with a few paper whips..tiny strips of paper.
Just a simple chipboard arrow from Creek Bank Creations here covered with pattern paper. The trick to getting letters to pop on scrapbook pages is matting. Notice here I matted the letters, and I put them in letter boxes! I used pop dots on the letter boxes as well!

We still have room in our class for National Scrapbook Day! You can sign up for classes here: Friday or Saturday.
If you aren't local and want to buy the page kit we've provided that as well. (two pages of instructions with color photos). Our kit contains full sheets of paper, and an extra sheet of cardstock for matting photos. Remember to check the list of class supplies to make sure you have what you need to complete the page!
