Prima Canvas Album
Ali Edwards is getting set to reveal her December Daily Album for 2009 this Monday on her blog. If you aren't familiar with Ali or more specifically this project that she does every year, here's an brief description from her blog:
December Daily is an album that documents the month of December leading up to Christmas day (and sometimes beyond - that's completely up to you). It is a chance to reflect, to share, to celebrate the season in a manageable, in-the-moment way. The entire key to this album is to put it together BEFORE December. In December I will share my finished pages each day.
The Basics: gather up a bunch of holiday supplies, create an album with 25 pages (one for each day), and then when December rolls around you will have a foundation upon which to document you and your family's story. The idea is to take the time now to set it all up so that on December 1 you are ready to experience + to capture the memories for the day and add them into your album as you go.
I made an album last year and loved this project. Actually I made 4 albums and gave away 3 of them as gifts! I'm really excited to see her album. This year she's changing the foundation of her book. She usually uses pattern paper, cardstock or transparencies as pages and chipboard covers. This time she's using the Donna Downey Prima Canvas Album as the base and mixing in a variety of interior pages. I personally love this canvas album so I can't wait to see her design. I'm also a big fan of different sized pages mixed in with pockets, page protectors, envelopes and transparencies. I love the eclectic feel of it all.
