210 Crop / Classes
Our next 210 crop is next weekend September 24 & 25th. This crop will run two days 9am-midnight both days. You can come and go as your schedule allows, and if you can only come on Saturday that is fine too. You can order food through our website for this event, (Monday is the last day to sign up for food) or bring your own. It is always a great relaxing time of creating.
This will be our last 210 crop. Did you hear that? This will be our last 210 crop. (I've noticed some folks don't read our email ;) The last 2 years have been the most challenging for us in the business. I've had to look at everything we do and evalaute things like never before. I started doing 210 crops two years ago with a purpose in mind...to get ladies to come and out...sit in a chair and actually scrapbook. That certainly has worked..but as times change we've got to change too. We will still be doing crops...but they won't be the super duper low price of a 210 crop! SOOOO...if you haven't signed up the 210 in September it's not too late...our next crop will not be as competively priced! Sign Up Here!
Just a gentle reminder to all our customers attending crops....please bring headphones if you are watching DVD's on your laptops or DVD players. Also be aware that singing, laughing and talking with headphones on can be annoying to folks...nuf said?
Classes at our 210 Crop Next Weekend
We've waited until the last minute trying to get the latest supplies into our classes. These classes are ALL loaded with new product, and great technique!
New Family Paper Bag Album by Julie Creek Friday 7pm
Here's a great chance to experience new things. Learn to make a new style paper bag book. Learn to work with the new I rock gem setting tool. Learn to work with Tim Holtz Tissue Tape. Learn to work with Tim Holtz embellishments...and see they don't always have to look "grungy". We've wrapped it all together in one class using Crate Paper's new Restoration line, and My Minds Eye new trims. You'll leave class with a dolled up paper bag album, plus the knowledge on how to build many, many more.
This project is being offered by Creek Bank Creations in three ways:
1. Join us Friday Sept. 24th for the class
2. By the kit and we'll ship it to your door. (order some My Minds Eye as stated in the post below and get a discount too)
3. Store owners with a registered account with Creek Bank Creations can order the class pak version of this kit and offer this class in their stores. If you are a business owner please follow the directions on the ordering page when ordering. We do not ship wholesale orders free freight.
You must bring to class (or provide if you are buying the kit)

Mini Mister or spray bottle (I will provide these at class but if you order our kit you need it)
If you are purchasing this kit for use at home you will need to purchase the I rock tool. If you do not want to purchase the
I rock tool, just use self adhesive gems instead.
Altered Canvas Class
with Marcie Morgan Saturday Sept 25th 2pm. $22.00
(this is a wall hanging on real canvas...measures 10x14)
In this class you'll make a truly beautiful altered canvas using the latest My Minds Eye Lost and Found collection, prima branch and flowers, and stunning Maya Road Blossoms. You will learn how to apply Glimmer Glam from Tattered Angels to alter your canvas, detailed paper cutting, and even how to alter your flowers to custom match your design. We will be painting, stamping, cutting, and more...so be prepared to get a little messy and have a great time!

You can purchase this project two ways:

the kit here and we will ship it to you. Cost is $39.00. The price for purchasing this kit is higher because we will be shipping you 2 full bottles of glimmer glam, and a sheet of stamps from My Minds used in this kit. When we offer these supplies in our classes we provide the supplies, and our customers share the use. (so why not just come for class???)
We are not offering this in a class pak form.
If you are taking this class you need arrive at least an hour (or more) early to paint your canvas. This canvas needs plenty of dry time...so arrive early!!! Layout Class With Keely Dines Saturday August 25th 11am
Cost $12.00
Come and make this two page layout with Keely and learn to use some of the Tim Holtz Amazing products. We will be using his texture fades, dies, ink blending tool, distress ink, mixed up with Creek Bank Creations Chipboard and Bo Bunny's Peacock lane paper. You will be able to personalize the titles on both the pages using our chipboard alphabet to make your own unique layout. If you would like to bring pictures to use on this layout, you will need 2-3x5 and 1-5x7.

In addition to the layout, we will also customize this cute little recipe box using Creek Bank Creations Chipboard, paper and Tim Holtz distress stickles. This is a quick project that would make a great shower or Christmas gift.

We are not offering this class as a kit, or class pak at this time.
I've heard alot of "I can only come on Saturday" about the crop....my response to that is GREAT...then come on Saturday. We are happy to reserve your place once you register and you won't be disappointed with getting to sit down, unwind, and get some creative work done.
If you are out of town please remember that Champaign is a 25 minute drive to our west, and Danville IL is a 15 minute drive to the east...all of us (Champaign, Muncie, and Danville) are sitting just off Interstate 74. Both Champaign and Danville have plenty of hotels which are right next to the interstate. In Champaign try the
Drury Inn, and Danville try the
Holiday Inn Express. (we don't have special rates but these are good hotels I would stay at...and our customer Shirley works at the Drury Inn).
We do have a few spaces left at
the crop...so come on down!

We are gearing up for The Covered Bridge Festival Oct. 8-17th. We will be located in our same location..in Bridgeon, Indiana inside the 
Keely Dines began working with the line for us this week. We've got a kit in the works, which we will release later. For now we've got the papers, tickets, clear stamps and more online here. Below you'll see samples of the papers that Keely accented with Tim Holtz Distress inks. She applied all the inks with the Ink Blending Tool. You will see color on the papers below...but remember these papers are WHITE in the beginning. (please note here I have fought this computer for over an hour and I can NOT get the sidways images to straighten out...I'm sorry!!)
